What is COMODO Internet Security?
-------------------------------------------------

COMODO Internet Security is the product which we have intgrated COMODO Antivirus, COMODO Firewall and COMODO Defense+ in a seamless manner. We have also fixed many bugs in COMODO Firewall with this release.

Where can I get the COMODO Firewall or COMODO Antivirus ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

COMODO Firewall or COMODO Antivirus canbe installed as standalone products by using the same setup.

Known Issues
---------------------

1 - We are not aware of any *major* issues with the products. But there are minor known issues that is not really important to be listed here.
But this is a BETA product and it might contain serious bugs that have not been discovered yet.
2 - CAV 2 users must uninstall it before installing *this* version of COMODO Internet Security
3 - CFP 3 users must uninstall it before installing *this* version of COMODO Internet Security(You can import your old configurations)

That was from the lead developer. After COMODO Internet Security (CIS) is launched, the other technologies that will be put into CFP 3 will be Threatcast & Sandbox, Where Threatcast gives advice based on users responses to alerts, and Sandbox where files get passed through the sandbox producing ZERO alerts, etc. So it will be the most powerful, yet quietest, "HIPS" if you like on the market!

Off course other technologies is to come, and the infrastructure to build such unique technology is in progress!

CAV 2的偵測率還是跟以前一樣爛嗎

這個是用3版的引擎
掃描速度比較快
改掉了一些以前一般病毒定義會報殼的情況(防毒軟體測殼大亂鬥)
現在會將"叛兄逆弟A"報為:"TrojWare.Win32.TrojanDropper.Agent.NKP
            "Mybr"報為:Worm.IRC.DelTree.Weapox.B
能解殼的:Fsg 2.0  .DURX 1.0  .ASPack 2.12 .MaskPE 2.0
病毒庫也跟2版的不一樣了
分析更新速度一樣龜..偵測率說不定更慘  畢竟少了報殼

FIXED! CIS stucks while scanning some files

- Updating from the previous BETAs does not register the shell integration library so AV needs to be reinstalled
- A number of small issues which do not affect the quality of the release exist

目前还在RC1中问题还是会很多而且这也是COMODO的第一个INTERNET SECURITY 就算FINAL出了我想也不一定会很完善的

FIXED! BSOD when virtual drives with mounted Windows Image(*.wim) files browsed
FIXED! Firewall rarely detects the wrong application
FIXED! Right Click Scanner does not detect malware
FIXED! Right Click Scanner hangs while scanning empty folders
FIXED! Manual scanner does not detect malware if an old configuration is imported and used
FIXED! Logging does not work under some non-english operating systems

We have also fixed many small bugs in this release.

- Automatic updating before manual scanning is inactive
- AV scanner might stop functioning when certain files are scanned
