Summary
McAfee VirusScan (VSE) 8.5i will be re-posted to include Patch 5.This will be the first version supported for use with Microsoft WindowsServer 2008 (Longhorn).
This article will be updated whenthe new version is available for download. See KB41962 for generalinformation on downloading software from McAfee.
NOTE: Installing VirusScan 8.5i with Patch 4 and then upgrading to Patch 5 is not supported.
這篇文章的大概意思：將會重新發佈一個帶有Patch5的VSE8.5，以支持Windows Server 2008 。新的軟體可以下載時，這篇文章也會隨著更新。先安裝VSE8.5withPatch4,再升級至Patch5是不支援的.
最後的NOTE是否意味著Win XP也要先卸載已經安裝的VSE8.5withPatch4,再安裝VSE8.5withPatch5,而不能只安裝Patch5?

Patch 5已經出正式版了嗎?
難道..這次的Patch 5只有增加支援Windows Server 2008嗎?

Patch5還沒出，這只是McAfee先放出來的更新消息！比較可能的消息是這次Patch5，可能無法直接安裝在Patch4的機器上，要安裝可能得先卸除Patch4

關於McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i Patch5的一點新消息
IMPORTANT:
-Patch 5 is a High Priority Patch release. See article 614038 for information on ratings.
-Patch 5 is currently in a Managed Release period, where select customers receive the Patch and work closely with Tier 3 Support to implement the Patch and provide feedback. Any issues found are investigated and addressed. This article will be updated when Patch 5 reaches General Release. This is currently expected to be by 26 February 2008.
Customers who wish to participate in this Managed Release program should contact their TAM/SAM.
